Installation Instruction For SmartNav (HP IPAQ HW6515)

Step 1 - Software Installation

a. Insert the SD Card into the slot b. Go to Start > File Explorer > My Device > SD Card
c. Then go to SmartNAV 4.0 Installer > Tab on the file name smnutil.Arm 1100 (4k) v3.00.cab to install d. A message box asking for installation will appear. Tab OK/Yes
e. Tab on msvbppc.armv4.cab to update eVB runtime.

Step 2 - Software Registration

a. Go to Start > Program > SmartNav 4.0.1 Utility
b. Click on Registration tab and you will see a Private Code is given. c. Key-in the Product ID
d. Go to www.mpamalaysia.com > Click the Software Registration button.
e. Fill in the Software registration form with the given Private Code and Product ID.
f. Submit the registration form and you will get a Load Key g. Key-in the generated Load key immediately into the software to activate SmartNav 4.0.1.
Reminder: Do not turn off your SmartNav 4.0 Utility before registration complete. Key-in the generated Load Key immediately.

Step 3 – Setup Map Database

a. Go to File Explorer > SD Card > SmartNav 4.0

b. Cut Map folder from

File Explorer > SD Card > SmartNav 4.0

        and paste this folder under

File Explorer > SD Card

Step 4 - Map Database Selection

a. Go to Start > Program > SmartNav 4.0.1 Utility
b.   Go to Start > Program > SmartNav 4.0.1 Utility    c. Click on Options tab. Choose the map database setting as follow:-        Peninsular Malaysia Map § Map File Location è \SD Card\ Map\ Malaysia.map § Nav File Location è \SD Card\ Map\ Malaysia.nav            KlangValley Map § Map File Location è \SD Card\  Map\ KlangValley.map § Nav File Location è \SD Card\ Map\ KlangValley.nav
d.   Tab on to select Map file and Nav file

Final step - Launching SmartNav 4.0.1

a. Start > Program > SmartNav
