SmartMap is especially suited for business GIS application that do not need to update maps but need to customize its own location database. SmartMap comes in 3 versions:

Viewer - Offers viewing and basic map handling capability such as level control and zooming and POI search.
Personal - Same as the professional except it does not have GPS interface and the number of user-defined POI's are limited.
Professional - The most comprehensive set of functions as defined below.
